EL BOCHO and me just visited Bratislava for a week to check out our UAC buddies exhibition and to scout some new spaces for art shows and action in the summer… we´ve reached MICHAL MRÁZ expo “Disturbed” late and missed all the “blah-blahs” and “old guns”, but better for us, cause MM wuz happy to see us and the fact that he sold most of the artworks during the night is fantastic. Congratz bro! We´ve met some old friends and two more UAC artists: Ales Vojtasek and Lukas Kubala. Of course there was some street action and we are bringing some new artworks for the Streetart Meeting at the Urban Spree Gallery Berlin coming up this weekend. Besides we´ve visited the current ALFONS MUCHA expo in Bratislava and can say that this was the highlight of the trip and the best exhibition since years. Its crazy how the masters work influence most of the graff writers and illustrators worldwide. Even the european flag and the “€” you can find in his sketches from over 114 years ago. I am still deep impressed!
All in one it was a great trip to the Donube river and we are happy to announce that we are having a branch gallery/shop straight down under the castle managed by the slowakian graff legend SCUOTT and there are plans to do a huge exhibition and meeting end of may. After a short trip to Prague and quick visite in the comic museum of KÀJA SAUDEK (thx to Arnost for open it only for us!) we are back in Berlin!!! Thx to all ppl we´ve met and special thanks to Elvis for the photos… we are coming back in march to crack the new gallery space!!!
